Acute knee trauma can produce a variety of ligament injury patterns. Thorough evaluation requires a combination of clinical and radiographic assessment. A heightened awareness to the possibility of coexisting neurovascular injury is critical. Once an accurate determination of the nature and extent of injury to all involved structures has been made, appropriate planning for surgical management may be undertaken. Verf.-Referat
