Abstract des Autors
The dramatic increase in the provision of applied sport psychology services over the past decade has been accompanied by the emergence of certain ethical and professional issues. The purpose of this chapter is to consider two ethical problems of current concern. First, the problem of crisis intervention and making referrals. This becomes a problem when athletes appear to require the services of a professional with either different, or more, expertise than the primary sport psychologie consultant. Second, the problem of dividing consultant time between athletes in a squad when different sorts of intervention are needed and when available time is severely limited. -Verf.-Referat-
