Abstract des Autors
The key to any successful strength and conditioning program is what happens during the technique phase in each lift. What takes place between the first and last repetition of each exercise is what produces results. It's not the type of equipment that produces results - although good equipment helps. It is the proper execution of each exercise. It is possible to produce increases in strength by doing almost anything that places a demand on your musculature. Good technique must be used to progress in a consistent manner over a long period of time without injury. In order to develop maximal strength in the least amount of time and in the safest manner possible, follow these five checkpoints: 1. Be sure to utilize full range exercises. 2. Eliminate any fast, sudden or jerky movements. 3. Emphasize the lowering of the weight. 4. Overload the muscles properly. 5. Do not work out without supervision. Verf.-Referat
