Abstract
Verf. beschreibt, welchen grossen Einfluss Aufbau und Struktur sowie Durchfuehrungsgrundsaetze der Henley Regatta auf Pierre de Coubertin hatten. Er nahm viele Gedanken und Grundsaetze bei der Gruendung des Internationalen Olympischen Komitees (IOC) auf. -pal-
