Abstract des Autors
As the IOC has cancelled dextropropoxyphene from the list of banned substances this opioid analgesic can be used for therapeutic reasons without causing any problem in doping control as it has been in the past, based on the long elimination half-life mainly of nordextropropoxyphene. As dextropropoxyphene and its metabolite are detectable in the screening procedure for stimulants the medical use of dextropropoxyphene can be monitored. Verf.-Referat
