Abstract des Autors
The authors have considered 300 athletes complaining of gastro-enteric symptoms and they have gastroscopized them. They have pointed out that 50 patients had lesions in the most proximal intestinal portions. Everybody of them has been treated with anti-H2 (ranitidin), and the complete remission of either symptoms and lesions has been obtained, without alteration of their agonistic capacities. Finally the data obtained through the study of the group of athletes have been compared with those obtained gastroscopizing a population of the same age, of the same social and geographical extraction.
