N2  - The case of a 30 year old man, previously asymptomatic and apparently healthy, lightly obese and complaining of a characteristic chest pain irradiated to the shoulder and to the left superior limb is reported. The pain arised approximately half an hour after a violent contusive wall chest trauma while playing five to five soccer. The elctrocardiogram and the transthoracic echography mono-and bidimensional in the standard projections showed evidence of acute anterior myocardial infarction. The coronarography showed the presence of a critical stenosis of the anterior descending with 33% of fraction of ejection. A survey of the literature, showed only 4 cases of myocardial infarction caused by contusive trauma during a football game and this one is the first case documented during a five to five soccer game. It is suggested that this patient sustained a traumatic coronary artery thrombosis resulting in acute myocardial infarction predisposed by the underlying coronary disease.   Verf.-Referat
