Abstract des Autors
There are no previous reports in literature of ipsilateral ruptures of both patellar tendon and anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) following sports injury. The rarity of such combination ruptures probably led to the ACL tear being missed, though the patellar tendon was repaired surgically. An increased awareness of this possibility and the early use of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) may prevent a protracted course of disability in such cases. Verf.-Referat
