Abstract des Autors
A runner with a chronic history of repetitive ankle sprains presented with tingling and numbness of the lateral aspect of the foot. Electrodiagnosis revealed evidence of sural nerve entrapment. The patient was treated with conservative chiropractic management. Follow-up electrodiagnosis after 12 visits revealed normalization of delayed latencies on evoked potentials studies and amplitude changes on nerve conduction studies. Chiropractic management in this case was effective for the reduction of sural nerve entrapment neuropathy. Verf.-Referat
