Abstract des Autors
Using an electrode, the oxygen pressure and the temperature of human muscles were measured. The more distal the muscle, the lower the temperature in the tissue. Regarding temperature, lower values were measured in the more distal parts of the extremities. In the quadriceps the pO2 level was around 40 mmHg. Under hyperbaric conditions (0.5 bar) and oxygen breathing, the pO2 increased by a factor of 4-5. Verf.-Referat
