Abstract des Autors

We performed a prospective study on 70 patients (divided into three groups of clinically normal knee-sportsmen, clinically normal knee non-sportsmen and one group of arthroscopically clinically documented ACL-disruptions) with the "Kneelax 3"-arthrometer by defined forces measuring anterior laxity of the knee. The "compliance index" (C3) was the measure for validity and reproducibility of the measurements. In this examination (study) we found a compliance index in the group of the ACL-disrupted patients from >1,5 mm in more than 90% with high reliability; over 50% even had data of <2 mm. In the group of the sportsmen and the non-sportsmen the measurement differences were all <1,5 mm, with over 90% of the sportsmen even below 1 mm. Here, the non-sportsmen showed a little more instability. The mean data on every manual-force resulted in a typical reference curve in each group. Verf.-Referat
