Abstract des Autors
In nutritional analyses (10 days using BLS/EWP) of performance-oriented endurance athletes, D-hormone intakes of <1.5 micro-g/day were determined among 38% of the athletes tested and <4.9 micro-g/day among 49%, so that only 12% of those tested reached the lower limit recommended by the German Society for nutrition (DGE). In the case of 21 female endurance athletes with training ranges of >60 km/week <25-OH-D3> and <1.25 (OH)2-D3> in the fasting serum were determined. In particular, athletes with a low D-hormone intake had concentrations of 25-OH-D3 (<50 nmol/l) and 1.25-(OH)2-D3 (<75 pmol/l) below the normal limits. Verf.-Referat
