Abstract des Autors
In order to characterize the importance of biochemical parameters in training adaptation we investigated 10 boxers of the German national olympic team before and after a conditioning training period of 3 weeks. The boxers accomplished a maximal performance test on a punching bolster measurement and information system (MIS), and venous blood samples were drawn before and after the test. After the conditioning training period, the boxers showed an enhanced endurance capacity in endurance performance test as well as a significantly elevated force and punch power performance in the 3 X 3 min power performance test. This was accompanied by a significantly lower concentration of lactate during the test and significantly higher alanine and ammonia productions. The resulting higher ratios of ammonia-/lactate and alanine-/lactate-increase indicate an economization of energy metabolism parallel to an expansion of the power endurance. A significantly higher increase in norepinephrine after the second test indicates a higher sympathetic noradrenergic simulation contributing to maximal performance. In conclusion both the measurement of plasma CA and the measurement of ammonia and alanine might supplement the lactate diagnostic in the assessment of the physiological and metabolical performance development.
