Meniscus injuries, common among active patients, can often be diagnosed through a careful office examination. If findings include a typical history and joint-line tenderness, more expensive imaging procedures can be avoided. Although conservative treatment can be effective if the injury is not extensive, surgery is frequently necessary. Verf.-Referat
