Abstract
In parachute traumatology the ankle is preferentially affected, usually by sprain or bimalleolar fracture. We had an occasion to see again, 8 years after the accident, a case of bilateral rupture of Achilles tendon which had occurred in a parachute jump and had required bilateral surgery. The patient had fully resumed his sporting activities, including parachute jumping. Paraclinical examinations (ultrasonography, Cibex) confirmed the excellent functional recovery of this exceptional lesion the like of which we have never seen again. Verf.-Referat
