Abstract
The reliability and sensitivity of the Caltrac and Calcount accelerometers were determined at different exercise workloads. Overall, our findings revealed that both accelerometers are dependable and sensitive to changes in speed but their output tend no to adequately reflect the greater energy expenditure required during grade walking or running.
