Abstract
An anthropometric method of sexual differentiation based on two ratios, biiliocristal diameter/height of anterior iliospinale and width (shoulder-hip/hip-waist) has been applied to a general population of both sexes and to groups of various kinds of sportsmen and women. The analysis of the results shows that the use of the 5 measurements, involved in the ratios, seems judicious. Because each of them can influence the ratios according to the kind of sportsgroup measured, for example. The male look increases for both men and women when the sports require more muscular development and anaerobic power. Verf.-Referat
