Abstract des Autors
The present study was designed as a longitudinal follow-up of our previous research (Nelson et al., 1986). In the earlier research we collected data on throwing performance of 5-year-old children as well as a series of biological and environmental variables. This paper reports the results for the same characteristics measured 3 years later on 26 of the original 100 children. The purpose was to assess the changes in throwing performance of boys and girls while considering both biological and environmental variables, as well as the stability and relationships among these characteristics over 3 years.
