Abstract
In this paper an overall investigation and analysis of the characteristics of the somatotype, physical function, and physical fitness of mildly mental-retarded pupils in the eight districts of Beijing were made and the referential criteria for both items and comprehensive evaluation of the pupils physique were developed.
