Abstract

It is the requirement of modern sport to take philosophy as a research subject superior to the general sport theory, as lack of wide field of vision or higher theoretic thought, it would be difficult for Chinas sport to get success. By revealing the nature and features of modern sport, sport philosophy takes the basis viewpoint and methodological principles of modern sport activities as its research objects, having them theorized and systematized so as to provide people with philosophical theories and methods in dealing with modern sport activities. The research contents of sport philosophy consists of three parts: 1. theory of sport practice (practical philosophy); 2. theory of sport science (scientific philosophy); 3. theory of sport technique (technical philosophy).
