Abstract
An experiment conducted at the biomechnical laboratories of the John Hopkins University (USA) to assess the capsular and ligamentous stability of the human cadaver knee after progressive sectioning of its ligaments is described. The influence of loading was analysed with a computerized apparatus. By contrast with those used in previous studies, this permitted the application of both loading and quadricipital forces. The results are examined and correlated with personal surgical protocols. Verf.-Referat
