Abstract

During a training period of one year 9 road competition cyclists were investigated using two protocolls of an anaerobic test, i.e. a submaximal test, lasting one minute with 8 watt/kg bodyweight and a maximum, open end test with the same load. The dynamic behaviour of the metabolism was investigated by means of arterial lactate concentrations. Thus, characterising the lactate capacity as well as the pool of the high energy phosphates at different points during the training years, the significant results will be discussed. Verf.-Referat
