The frequency of eye injuries in sports raises numerous questions about preventive eye care for athletes: What style of frame and type of lens material provice the best protection for athletes, especially those who play racket sports? Are polycarbonate lenses available in sunglasses? What is polycarbonate? What standards are used to ensure that and eye protector is safe and effective?
