Abstract

This study investigated the relationship between football injuries during three different time periods and critical day positions on a football players biorhthmic chart. A total of 199 football injuries was included in the study. Two definitions were used for critical biorhythmic days, one being more conservative than the other. Chi-square analysis was conducted with the data and revealed that no significant relationship existed between the occurrence of a football injury and any biorhythmic critical day of the injured player. Implications of these findings for biorhythmic theory and research in the area are discussed. Verf.-Referat
