Abstract
The authors examine the most frequent pathology of achilles-calcaneal-plantar apparatus in athletes. They speak about the importance of some sports shoes and of a wrong training in causing this pathology. The authors consider mainly the phlogistic and degenerative changes and the subcutaneous ruptures of achilles tendon describing xerographic features and the surgical treatment of spontaneous ruptures with long time results.
