Abstract
During boxing various types of ophthalmotrauma occur. Contusion injuries of the eyes are most numerous. The author has observed a boxer with a monocular traumatic cataract. Apart from serial ophthalmic examinations of a boxer prevention lies in strict observation of the laws in boxing too. Verf.-Referat
