Abstract
Red cell concentration of 2,3 - DPG decreased ca. 8 in men after a cross country race. The decrease was even greater (13 ) after running the marathon. There was no relation between the change in blood lactate and 2,3-DPG concentrations. The decrease in women was inconsistent and not significant. Verf.-Referat
