Ziel

PA4AGE aims to provide adult learners with new skills and new interventions in a sector that presents many opportunities and is progressing rapidly due to demographic ageing.
Additional goals include:
- Changing the mind set of older people regarding the benefits and necessity of being engaged into physical activity sessions, through the emphasis on positive physical activity behaviors and through decomposing barriers and negative attitudes about physical activity
- Battling of still existing misconceptions about ageing focusing on biological decline and by that overlooking actions that promote a better quality of life
- Use physical activity as a social cohesion tool, which can be used by any individual, regardless of physical abilities, personal needs, resources and shortcomings.
- To make people in third age more active in personal, social and economic aspects
- Because of the applicability of the content to many different profiles and situations for older people, that at the end becomes a valuable, flexible tool in the hands of the direct learners to increase the resultfulness and applicability of their tasks
