Abstract des Verlegers

Der Beitrag skizziert Schwerpunkte und Leitlinien der Arbeit der Trainerakademie Köln des DOSB. Ihre nationale wie internationale Vernetzung wird ebenso dargestellt wie ausgewählte konzeptionelle Ansätze und Befunde zu Gegebenheiten und Erwartungen der Trainer an ihre Ausbildung. Die grundlegenden Prinzipien, die die Trainerakademie mit ihren Aus- und Fortbildungsangeboten verfolgt, werden herausgearbeitet und ihre ausbildungsmethodische Akzentsetzungen im Spannungsfeld von Wissen, Kompetenz, Können und erfolgreicher Trainertätigkeit vorgestellt.

Abstract des Autors

The Coaches’ Academy of the German Olympic Sports Federation (DOSB) in Cologne acts as a national competence and service center for coach education and training in German high level sports. The emphases and guidelines of its work are outlined. Results and background aspects from the national and international networking as well as selected conceptual approaches and new findings on conditions and expectations of the coaches with respect to coaches’ education are presented. The basic principles that the Coaches’ Academy pursues with its training and further-education opportunities as well as training-methodical emphases in the conflicting priorities between knowledge, competence, ability and successful coaching activity are highlighted.
