Abstract

Der Deutsche Schulsportpreis des Deutschen Olympischen Sportbundes (DOSB) und der Deutschen Sportjugend (dsj) wird seit mehr als zehn Jahren vergeben und zeichnet bundesweit Schulen aller Schulformen aus, die entsprechend dem thematischen Akzent der jeweiligen Ausschreibung besondere Aktivitäten im Sinne von Good-Practice-Maßnahmen auf dem Gebiet von Bewegung, Spiel und Sport in der Schule nachweisen und diese in ihrer Bewerbung erfolgreich dokumentieren. Der Beitrag versteht sich als eine Bestandsaufnahme und Zwischenbilanz: Er zeichnet die Genese des Schulsportpreises nach und wertet Daten und Fakten zu den bisherigen Bewerbern und den ausgezeichneten Schulen aus. Dabei geht es insbesondere um die Vorstellung der Themen der Ausschreibungen, die Zugehörigkeit der teilnehmenden Schulen nach Bundesländern und Schulformen bzw. der Preisträgerschulen. Ferner wird der Schulsportpreis in die „Familie“ der Preise in Sport und Schule eingeordnet und mit dem Deutschen Schulpreis verglichen. Abstract

For more than ten years the German school sports prize sponsored by the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) and the German Sport Youth (dsj) has been awarded to all types of schools throughout Germany. The prize winners were selected in accordance with their attention to both the thematic emphasis of the respective competition invitation concerning special activities as good-practice measures of movement, play and sports as well as their successful documenting of these activities in the application. The author reflects on the current standing of the sports prize and offers an interim assessment. He documents the development of the German school sports prize and evaluates the data of previous applicants and prize-winning schools. Thereby the author focuses on the presentation of the themes of the competition invitations, the differentiation of the participating schools according to state membership and these schools, respectively the winning schools, into types of schools. In addition he categorizes the German school sports prize within the family of sports and school prizes and compares it to the German school prize. Finally the author discusses the “added value” of an application for the applying school. Verf.-Referat
