Abstract

Erfolg im Leistungssport ist ohne Spitzentrainer schon lange nicht mehr denkbar. Deshalb sollen in diesem Beitrag die Tätigkeitsfelder von Trainern, deren Anforderungsprofile und die Bedingungen, unter denen sie in der Praxis - insbesondere des deutschen Sports - arbeiten, näher beleuchtet werden. Außerdem sollen einige Denkanstöße für künftig Erforderliches gegeben werden, und zwar gleichermaßen auf individueller Ebene jedes einzelnen Trainers und mit Blick auf die strukturell-organisationalen Ebenen des Verbandes, der Stützpunkte und Vereine. Abstract

The fact, that success in competitive sport is not possible without top-level coaches, has been a commonplace for a long time. That is why in this article a closer look is taken at the fields of activity of coaches, the requirement profiles needed for these activities, and the conditions of the practical work of coaches particularly in German sports. Furthermore, readers shall be given thought-provoking impulses concerning things needed in the future. In doing so, the focus is both on the individual coach and on structural and organisational aspects of federations, training centres and clubs. Verf.-Referat
