Abstract
Die Autoren analysierten Positionsverläufe und Präsenz von Leistungstenninspielern auf den Jugend- und Aktiven-Ranglisten des Deutschen Tennis Bundes einerseits prospektiv, ausgehend von früheren Spitzenspielern in der U12, andererseits retrospektiv, ausgehend von aktuellen Spitzenspielern der nationalen Damen- und Herrenrangliste und der U18-Rangliste. Die vorliegenden Daten sollen Nachwuchstennisspieler sowie deren Eltern und Trainer für die Notwendigkeit einer realistischen Karriereplanung sensibilisieren. Verf.-Referat
Abstract
The authors have analysed the courses of ranking list positions and the presence of competitive tennis players in the youth and active players' ranking lists of the German Tennis Federation. This analysis has been done both prospectively, i. e., as related to former U12 top-level players, and retrospectively, i. e., as related to current top-level players in the national women's and men's ranking lists and the U18 ranking list. The data presented in this article is aimed at marking young tennis players as well as their parents and coaches sensitive to the necessity of a realistic career planning. Verf.-Referat
