Abstract des Autors
Seit Beginn der 80er Jahre verbreitet sich der Snowboardsport zunehmend in Europa. Wir berichten über drei 16-, 23- und 24-jährige Snowboarder mit einer isolierten Fraktur des hinteren Volkmannschen Dreiecks, die osteosynthetisch mit Kleinfragment-Spongiosaschrauben versorgt wurden. Die Rehabilitation verlief komplikationslos. Da wir innerhalb der letzten Jahre keine weiteren isolierten Frakturen des hinteren Volkmannschen Dreiecks bei Sportlern registrieren konnten, vermuten wir, dass der Snowboardsport eine Prädisposition für diesen seltenen Verletzungtyp darstellen könnte. Abstract des Autors
Since 1980 snowboarding has become popular in Europe. We report on three 16, 23 and 24 year old snowboarders with an isolated fracture of the rear Volkmann-triangle. These snowboarders were osteosynthesized with two small fragment cancellous screws. The rehabilitation process showed no irregularities. As we observed only these three isolated fractures of the rear Volkmann-triangle in the last years we tend to suppose, that snowboarding might predispose for this rare type of injury. Verf.-Referat
