Abstract des Autors
The clinical significance of grade 2 meniscal lesions is still a matter of controversy. Some authors regard them as unimportant myxoid degeneration, some as intrasubstance meniscal tears. Grade 2 meniscal lesions can be found with or without clinical symptoms. Treatment is only necessary in symptomatic patients. Both conservative and operative treatment is possible according to the complaints. The different types of treatments with advantages and complications are described. Verf.-Referat
