Dislocations of the elbow lead to more or less extensive injuries of the capsular ligament which may be accompanied by a primary simple or complex stability loss but which only require surgical treatment in very exceptional cases. In cases where complex instability of the collateral ligaments is diagnosed following repositioning of the dislocated joint, surgical treatment is necessary. Verf.-Referat
