Abstract des Autors
In order to evaluate the significance of Conconi threshold (CT) this parameter was compared to the working capacity at the 4 mmol/l lactate concentration (LT). On this behalf 88 cycle-ergometric investigations were carried out in 22 subjects. In addition each subject performed five 30 min works in the range of CT. The main results were: 1. in 19.3% of all tests CT could not be defined because a clear breaking point was missing. 2. There is a highly significant correlation between CT and LT (r = 0.905). 3. In the average CT exceeds LT by 18.4 Watt. 4. During prolonged work with 90-100% of CT-intensity lactic acid concentrations between 3-11 mmol/l were observed. 5. There is a highly significant correlation of CT to the test protocol. A steeper increase of work load by 1 Watt/min corresponds to an increase of CT by 1 Watt. Verf.-Referat
