Abstract des Autors
With reference to visual parameters as the static and dynamic visual acuity and to different kinds of balance in sports the importance of the senses for sports is demonstrated. Unlike sports equipment in athletics balls in athletic games can be perceived with a relatively high precision by a spectator with normal visual acuity. Moving objects in sports, however, attain an angular velocity of 400 degree/s and more which is too fast for the mean dynamic acuity (DVA) of 200/230 deg/s. The higher DVA values of players in athletic games show that the DVA can be trained. Finally the internal sense conflict caused by differing perceptions of the senses and its influence on balance regulation in rowing, cycling and gymnastics is mentioned. Verf.-Referat
