Abstract
Attribution theory is essentially concerned with the explanations individuals use to account for previous events. The general purpose of the present paper is to discuss the implications from attributional research for coaching and teaching. Specifically, this is carried out in three ways. First, the general framework which attributional research has undertaken in sport and physical activity is discussed. Second, an overview of the attribution process is outlined. And finally, individual difference considerations (age, sex, task type) are discussed. Verf.-Referat
