Abstract
The authors report on the relationship between physical exercise, platelets and effort angina. In order to verify this possible relationship in athletes, the effects of exercise-induced stress on platelet count and function were studied in 10 professional football players, 8 untrained normal subjects and 10 subjects with stable effort angina. The results obtained underline the fact that platelet changes play an important role also in athletes. Verf.-Referat
