Zusammenfassung

Research comprehensiveness is the basis of diagnosis of various diseases of the maxillofacial area. An integrated approach to the diagnostic process helps in setting the correct diagnosis for patient, evaluation and comparison of the results, and determination of the plan of the patient management. Certain diagnostic sequence enables confirmation of some research methods resulting in more accurate final diagnosis. However, before the talk about the pathology, it is necessary to examine the normal dentition. The purpose of our work is to develop a diagnostic guideline to the study of the masseter and temporalis muscles in patients with intact dental rows to obtain reliable results of dentition status and comparison of the data in various pathological conditions. The study of the issue in various literature is based on a standard outpatient dental cards makes it impossible to cover the entire scope of the study patients. Therefore, in the department of prosthodontics and implantology we have developed a proprietary guideline and a map of the orthopedic patient examination, which will be held EMG to standardize the approach to the investigation and establishment of a functional state of dentition. Survey map is based on the comprehensive study of the general state of patients, methodology of dental examination status by WHO for Eastern Europe as ORAL status was used partly - EAST for different age groups of the population (average DMF of dentition, CPI, loss of attachment of ligaments tooth, orthopedic status, the need for prosthetics under objective examination of the patient). We paid attention to the complaints, the study of the basic characteristics of neural activity by testing, which can affect the results of the study of masticatory muscles. Then conduct an objective study, which includes an external examination of the patient, a detailed review of the lower third of the face – study different positions of the jaw, determine the nature and amplitude of jaw movements, study of the temporomandibular joint and ...
