Zusammenfassung

The purpose of this research was to study both the phenomenon of the active level in arm muscle groups of smashing shuttle action, and the difference of co-contract, in order to be the base of the training. Five players and five non-players in National Hsin-chu Teachers’ college were studied. We used electromyogram signal to measure systematic records of six relative muscles. Also, we used acelerate gauge and high-speed camera to judge the different stages: pulling, waving, and hitting stages. We used individual sample t-test to compile statistics; conspicuous standard was set α=.05; the result was as below: 1. In the stage of pulling and waving, the active level of biceps brachii of players was better than non-players. In the stage of hitting, deltoid anterior, triceps, flexor carpi and extensor carpi were obviously activated. 2. In waving stage, the ratio of biceps brachii and triceps of players were bigger than non-players’ obviously, that was to say, players’ upper arm muscle coordination was better than non-players. In addition, players’ wrist joint stability was better than non-players’ while hitting the ball. We concluded in the training program that we should reinforce the speed contraction ability of deltoid anterior, triceps, biceps brachii, extensor carpi and flexor carpi. Also, we suggested the future research should emphasize on the analysis of arm muscle groups and electromyography of whole bodies during badminton smashing movement.
