Abstract des Autors
This column provides a description of the proper exercise technique for the handstand push-up. This dynamic exercise incorporates components of 3 key movements (i.e., handstand, shoulder press, and push-up) designed to increase strength, endurance, and stability in the upper extremities. This exercise can provide benefits to athletes involved in gymnastics, acrobatics, or those requiring upper-body balance and stabilization. Thus, practitioners should consider the implementation of the handstand push-up into an exercise regimen.
