Einleitung
The authors employ surveys of Chinese citizens and factor analysis to evaluate the impact of the 2008 Beijing Olympics on perceptions of the Olympic Games. They generally find positive perceptions along several dimensions that persist through 2010, yet there is little optimism regarding the impact of the Games on employment opportunities, the provision of social services or congestion problems.
