Einleitung
The program of the 21st Annual Congress of the ECSS with its conference theme “Crossing Borders through Sport Science" comprises four plenary sessions and 36 invited symposia on topical issues in the field. In total more than 2000 abstracts have been submitted from 66 countries. 1802 abstracts were selected for the final programme and allocated to 100 oral, 70 mini-oral and 36 conventional poster sessions or assigned to E-poster presentation. 95 oral and 21 minioral presentations were selected for the Young Investigator Award (YIA).
