| abstract |
Studie vychází z výsledků výzkumu. jehož cílem bylo přispět k poznání role motivace v problematice dopingu ve sportu dětí a mládeže. Východiskem byla Nichollsova motívační teorie cíle snažení operující s existencí dvou stálých zaměření osobnosti. a to orientace na úkol a orientace na ego. Výzkum vycházel z předpokladu souvislosti uvedených orientací s posteli a názory na doping a s tendencí doping užívat a překračovat hranice fair play ve smyslu ochoty k podvádění. Pro měření motivačních orientací respondentů jsme použili dva dotazníky: Sources of Sport-Confidence Questionnaire a Perception of Success Questionnaire. K ujištění postojů k dopingu byl použit dotazník Performance Enhancement Attitude Scale. Kompletně vyplněné dotazníky jsme získali od 2851 respondentů (průměrný věk 16,2 let, SD - 1,84, hoši 50,7 %). Výsledky korelační a regresní analýzy potvrdily, že motivační orientace na úkol snižuje zejména pravděpodobnost užívání dopingu, výskytu pozitivních postojů k dopingu, záměr doping užívat i tendenci souhlasit s podváděním ve sportu. U zdrojů sebedůvěry jako součásti motivace jsou výsledky obdobné, kdy zvládnutí úkolů je spíše prevencí před pozitivními postoji k dopingu a záměrem doping užívat, či podvádět ve sportu. Fyzická sebeprezentace jako zdroj sebedůvěry má účinky opačné. The main aim of the study is to further explore the relation of motivational characteristics and doping-related attitudes and behavior in youth athletes. The study is grounded in Nicholls' theory of achievement motivation proposing ego and task orientations as two mayor motivational characteristics that may be associated with doping-related attitudes, intentions and behavior. We used two instruments for measuring the motivational orientations: Sources of Sport-Confidence Questionnaire and Perception of Success Questionnaire. For measuring attitudes towards doping we used Performance Enhancement Attitude Scale. 2851 respondents participated in the study (mean age = 16.2, SD = 1.84, boys 50.7%). The observed correlations and regressions suggest that task/mastery orientations are negatively related to reported use of doping, doping intention, positive attitudes towards doping and positive attitudes towards cheating in sports. Opposite relationship was observed between these doping-related characteristics and physical self-presentation as a source of confidence. |
