abstract	Der motorischen Entwicklung kommt in der frühen Kindheit eine zentrale Bedeutung zu. Ziel des vorliegenden Beitrages ist die Kennzeichnung wissenschaftlich abgesicherter Instrumente zur Diagnose des frühkindlichen motorischen Entwicklungsstandes. Hierzu werden gängige motorische Entwicklungstests anhand ausgewählter Testgütekriterien diskutiert. Am Ende des Beitrages steht eine Entscheidungshilfe für die Testauswahl. Verf.-Referat Motor development is of particular importance in early childhood. The aim of this paper is to identify scientifically substantiated measurements for the diagnosis of early childhood motor development. For this purpose, common motor development tests are discussed with respect to selected psychometric properties. At the end of the paper, a guide for selecting appropriate motor development tests is provided. Verf.-Referat
