Abstract des Autors
The classification of game sequences in video recordings is a precondition for the efficient and systematic analyzing of performances in sport games. We developed a method for the automatic classifying, of scenes based on the temporal and geometrical relationship of seven player positions during a beach volleyball rally. We use these positions to calculate e.g. the quality of reception, path of approach and the direction of attack. With this classification it is possible to filter the video data and watch only the sequences which are relevant for specific questions during analysis. Verf.-Referat
