The present paper was devoted to the activity of the cultural-sports complex of Kazan Aviation Institute "Olymp". Perspective directions of the faculty of physical culture and sport are: 1. The topic of "Health and education" is of special priority on the verge of the World Student Games-2013 in Kazan. 2. Engineer training in technical university to improve service of energy-intensive systems and targets of sports complexes. 3. Organization of educative-training process of athletes from national teams. 4. Work of the system of health management in estimation of the quality of future expert training. 5. Arrangement of research laboratory "Monitoring of physical state and body reserves". 6. Review of Soviet and foreign experience of sports manager training. The studies resulted in the conclusion that creation in the structure of modern university sports complexes of clusters realizing programs of physical education, mass sport and elite sport promotes laying of the basis for development of student sport along with multifaceted pedagogical, research and sports activities, health management system in estimation of the quality of training of future engineers.
