Abstract
Vor 100 Jahren fanden innerhalb des Programms der Olympischen Spiele in Stockholm erstmals Olympische Kunstwettbewerbe statt. Der Beitrag stellt die Umsetzung der Idee Coubertins, ihre Etablierung bis hin zur Eliminierung der Wettbewerbe dar. Es wird eine Bilanz der Wettbewerbe von 1912 bis 1948 gezogen und ein Überblick zu nachfolgenden Entwicklungen gegeben. Verf.-Referat
Abstract
100 years ago the first Olympic art competitions were included in the programme of the Olympic Games in Stockholm. This article focuses on the implementation of the intention of Coubertin, its establishment up to the elimination of the competitions. A conclusion concerning the competitions between 1912 and 1948 will be drawn and an overview of future developments will be given. Verf.-Referat
