Abstract

Modern football presupposes high level of work capacity as well as technical and tactical skills of football players. These qualities are closely connected with personal psycho-functional peculiarities, on which depends the level of performance. Technical and tactical preparation defines successful realization of play objectives, thus, mastering sufficient technical and tactical level is an actual objective in preparation of highly skilled football players. Along with that, evaluation of technical and tactical preparation of young players becomes even more actual problem. The aim of the research is to evaluate the efficiency of individual and group attacking and defensive tactical actions of youth teams in Kazakhstan during competitions and to compare the model performance indicators of high level football players. Football players of the national junior and youth teams of Kazakhstan of age 18-22 were the subject of evaluation. Efficiency evaluation of technical and tactical performance was carried out during competitions between football teams of equal level. Individual and group, attacking and defence, and technical and tactical performance were evaluated under 5-point scale and compared with the model in literature data. Results of the research revealed the efficiency of individual technical and tactical performance and participation in group tactical actions during competitions by young players of Kazakhstan. However, they fall behind the model indicators typical for high level football players. Our analysis of individual attacking and defensive tactical actions efficiency during competitions showed that difference between maximum and minimum level is over by 1.5 points and that football players vary considerably in successful performance of individual and group actions during competitions.
